I act for a wide variety of corporate clients, including entrepreneurs, owner-managers of family-owned businesses, executives, and large corporations, including not-for-profit corporations. I also represent and advise public sector clients, such as school boards and other educational institutions, on a broad range of corporate matters. I provide advice with respect to Acquisitions, Divestitures & Re-organizations, Computer Information & Technology, Contracts and Contract Administration, Commercial Leasing, Intellectual Property, Secured Transactions, Estate Planning and Administration, Education & Public Sector Law, Supply Chain Management, Corporate and Commercial Law, and Incorporation, Organization & Contractual Management of Canadian Companies on behalf of Multi-National Corporations.
Highlights include successfully representing a candidate on a Municipal Elections Re-count Proceeding who originally lost the election and was subsequently confirmed to have won, and discovering and rectifying ownership defects in significant City of Toronto property as a result of Planning Act contraventions, which had previously gone unnoticed by many other lawyers over a long period of time.
