Christine joined Keel Cottrelle LLP as Counsel in 2010. Her practice focuses on cross-border tax and estate planning solutions for high net worth individuals, domestic and international Will and trust planning, immigration and emigration planning, foreign investment in U.S. real property interests, private client inbound and outbound issues, and related private client tax controversy issues. Christine also has considerable experience with estate administration and regularly advises trustees on a variety of domestic and cross-border issues, including tax reporting obligations.

Christine is a member in good standing of the New York Bar and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada (Ontario). She holds a law degree from McGill University and a Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Miami. Christine is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and the Tax and Estate Planning sections of the American Bar Association. Prior to joining Keel Cottrelle LLP Christine articled at a national firm and later practiced with the boutique Toronto law firm Cumming & Partners LLP where she was a partner. Christine was the recipient of the 2012 Widdifield Award for excellence in legal writing in the area of trusts and estates law.
